Ireton Community Center
Thanks to generous bequests from the Lawrence Eilts and Floyd E. (“Bud”) Kemper estates and to donations from the community, Ireton was able to build a modern community center dedicated on March 20, 1999.
The facility offers a large room for events or meetings. It will seat up to 280 at round tables. It has a full kitchen with direct outdoor access for caterers, grilling and food delivery. There is also a small meeting room (seats 30-40). In addition to handicapped parking near the door, there is a large parking lot just across 4th Street.
The Ireton Community Center has hosted a wide variety of events: wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, family holiday meals, auction sales, benefit/fundraising meals and events, business meetings, community church services, Historical Society presentations, Ireton Alumni Association gatherings, Blood Drives, and the Booster Club’s hometown Christmas, Employer-Employee banquet, Spring Fling and other events.
The Ireton Community Center is attractive, affordable and well-maintained — consider it for your next event!
