Item #1 Summer help. After much discussion and review of offers it was decided to contract mowing of cemetery to Holzman Lawn Care for a one year trial period and hire one part time helper for the summer. Motion Mueller/Petersen passed 5-0

Item #2 Ordinance 18-01 Cemetery rules. Per Iowa code, an ordinance was offered for cemetery rules to put in codification book. Motion Petersen/TenNapel was made to waive 1st and 2nd reading and pass the ordinance effective upon publication. Passed in roll call vote 5-0

Item #3 Speed sign placement. After discussion it was decided to place new speed signs southbound on K30 S of Super Stop and northbound by FCS. Sioux County will assist in putting them in.

Item #4 Resolution 18-19 Authorizing clerk to certify liens for unpaid bills. Motioned to approve Mueller/TenNapel passed 5-0 to approve resolution

Council approves payment of $108,826 to Cleveringa Excavation.

Mayor comments congratulating West Sioux Football team in their State championship victory

Work session planned for Jan 3rd @ 6pm on budget

No further business meeting was adjourned TenNapel/Kooi
