Ireton Area Veterans Project
DVDs Available
The Ireton
Area Historical Society has 2 different DVDs
available based on their
Ireton Area
Veterans Memory Album Project.
DVD #1:
"Video DVD": Video slideshow of all of
the photographs submitted to the project by
May 10, 2011 -- all set to patriotic music.
This DVD is playable in any DVD player.
DVD #2:
"Album Pages DVD": This DVD has all of
the pages of the albums created by May 10,
2011 (more than 750) in Adobe PDF format so
that you may view all of the contents of the
albums on your computer. We tried an
Album Pages DVD in both a Windows-based
computer and in a MAC and were able to open
the pages in both. You will need Adobe
Reader -- a free program which you may
download here:
Get Adobe Reader
You will need
to download the correct version for your
computer; however, most computers have Adobe
Reader pre-loaded.
DVDs will be
available at the
program the Historical Society is
presenting on June 4. If you cannot
attend the program, they are available by
mail. We also plan to have them for
sale in the Ireton area after the program --
we just have not made those arrangements
yet.
The cost of
each DVD is $5. Shipping is $1.50 for
the first DVD and $.50 for each additional
DVD to the same address. (If you want
DVDs mailed to more than one address, please
complete a separate form for each address.
The initial $1.50 shipping fee applies to
each address.) This shipping charge
applies to U.S. addresses only. Please
e-mail us about shipping to non-U.S.
addresses.
To order by
mail, please print and complete the
attached order form (form is in Adobe
PDF format but is not editable so you will
have to print it and fill it out by hand)
and mail the form and your payment (made
payable to IAHS) to:
